Pastor Lance Fox grew up in Rolling Hills Moravian Church, located in a suburb of Orlando, Florida. Shortly after high school, he traded the warm beaches and tourist attractions for 15 years of Minnesota winters–wherein he went to school, started a family, and eventually received his call to ministry.
One of Lance’s strongest beliefs is the importance of discovering and exploring our God-given talents. And that belief has led him into a wide variety of professional experiences. He has been–in no particular order–a convenience store clerk, forklift operator, magazine editor, website developer, high school Math and English teacher, construction laborer, warehouse worker, associate college instructor, and part owner of “Lance and Ernie’s Import/Export Emporium”–an online business that sold vintage comic books around the world.
But it was in ministry that Lance has found that he was a square peg in a square hole. He has served as student pastor at Emmaus and Calvary Moravian Churches, and as pastor at Church of the Redeemer Moravian, and Morningstar Moravian Churches.
Lance’s passions include preaching, writing, digital photography, audiobooks, and really good Indian food–and he always enjoys time spent at Castleton Hill Moravian Church!
